Become a Front-End Developer

Course Overview

This course focuses on advanced JavaScript and the basics of the React framework. You will learn how to build complex web applications, handle application state, implement seamless routing, integrate APIs, and optimize performance according to industry standards. There will be several opportunities for you to build practical skills in class, as well as in a cumulative final project.

- Learn the fundamentals of React: component composition, higher-order components, render props, context, hooks, lifecycle methods
- Design and build sophisticated web applications using React, incorporating advanced JavaScript concepts
- Debug and troubleshoot web applications using browser dev tools, console logging, and React-specific debugging tools
- Understand and apply best practices for web development: performance optimization, accessibility, and clean, maintainable code
- Job Readiness: Soft skills through career trainings geared towards preparing you for job applications & interviews, networking events and job fairs.
- You will learn from experts in the industry to start a career in tech.
- You speak English.
- You can commit to at least 10 hours a week (classes + self-study).
- You have a basic knowledge of JavaScript, either from our Web Development Fundamentals course, or from elsewhere.
You are ready to apply for junior front-end developer positions.
