Welcome to ReDI School Denmark
About ReDI School Denmark
ReDI School of Digital Integration Denmark is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and non-binary people with refugee and migrant backgrounds. We support the enhancement of digital skills and facilitate the integration into Danish workplaces and society by providing free digital education.
Denmark is one of the world’s most digitalized countries in the world. To be able to enter Danish society, one is required to have a natural understanding of technology. Yet, many newcomers are left to fend for themselves on the sidelines – not due to lack of talent or ambition, but because they face systemic barriers to digital participation. At the same time, Danish businesses are experiencing a growing demand for IT skills and diversity, while the tech talent gap continues to widen.
In collaboration with our strong partner network, we offer specialized internships for ReDI School students and foster job opportunities to connect companies looking for IT professionals with our diverse ReDI talent pool. Students at ReDI benefit from a supportive community of peers, alumni, and volunteers, providing meaningful personal and professional guidance.
In Denmark, we have offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen, and our free-of-charge programs encompass a range of tech courses, workshops, and career-oriented activities. We have two semesters per year, in the Spring and Fall, made possible by volunteer teachers and career coaches from both the IT & business sectors.

Empowerment through digital upskilling
ReDI School offers two FREE study programs supported by volunteer industry professionals
Our Digital Beginners Program serves as an essential foundation for individuals looking to independently navigate and actively participate in our increasingly digital society. Our courses range from absolute beginner level for women who have never used a computer to practising basic workplace skills in digital communication, security and genAI. Our Digital Beginners represent more than 30 different nationalities and have diverse educational backgrounds.
Our Tech Program is a bridge into high-skilled jobs for women who despite their educational backgrounds, struggle to find relevant jobs. Through volunteer-led courses in AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, UX, UI, Front-End and Data Science and a tailormade career support program, we connect this unique talent pool with Danish companies. The program provides an extensive range of professional activities, including tech talks, events, workshops, company and conference visits, and structured networking with potential employers and mentors.

Become a partner and help drive our mission
Our partners play a central role
ReDI partners support by providing the expertise, resources, and collaboration – such as workshops, internships, and sponsorships – needed to offer free digital education and create pathways into the Danish tech sector.
As social impact professionals, we form partnerships that are equitable, relational, and rooted in trust. We help partners discover a way to contribute that is both meaningful to the ReDI community and to our partners. Therefore, our partnerships take different shapes to ensure collaboration is beneficial to all and that efforts underpin the right targets.
Driving value
Organizations partnering with ReDI School help advance accessible digital education while strengthening their DEI and ESG commitments in a clear and measurable way. Partnerships also create space for knowledge sharing, cross-sector collaboration, and long-term engagement that benefit both learners and the wider Danish workforce.
Together, we enable more women and non-binary people with refugee and migrant backgrounds to gain the skills and opportunities they need to succeed, while giving the Danish business sector access to diverse and in-demand talent.

-

Sponsor a course
To build towards a better talent pool, companies can host courses to upskill students for their roles. Here, companies play a role in defining the curriculum and inviting company employees to volunteer as teachers.
-

Host an internship
Interested in opening your doors to emerging and untapped talent? Partner companies can take in interns specialized in their industry for 3-6 months. ReDI helps promote opportunities and facilitate the recruitment process.
Since 2021, Dansk Bank has welcomed 70+ women into our ReDI fellowship program, and around 50% has transferred into permanent positions.

Have a better idea?
To get involved in other ways, ReDI partners can also host company visits or workshops, participate in career fairs, share relevant job opportunities, or pen articles and opinion pieces for the media. If you are looking to co-create, we are open for your ideas.
Thanks to a special Novo Nordisk CV & LinkedIn workshop, 50 of our learners received updated tips to navigate the unspoken rules and norms in Denmark.

“ Because the teachers, mentors, and other alumni participants give so much support, guidance, and clarity about the different opportunities for getting a job and an internship, I now feel much more confident about my future.”
– ReDI School alumna
“ Now I can check my e-Boks myself without involving others in my private affairs. That’s why I started at ReDI School, but I’ve gained so much more from it. For example, I’ve learned how to write my CV and apply for jobs online, and now I help my friends with it.”
