Course Overview
Step into the world of programming with our Introduction to Programming course. Designed for absolute beginners, this course focuses on building the foundational coding skills you need to start your journey in tech. Through hands-on exercises, group projects, and guided mini-lessons, you’ll gain confidence in writing code, understanding programming logic, and solving problems. You’ll also explore how to use AI coding assistants effectively and responsibly as part of your workflow.

In this course, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of:
Programming Fundamentals: Master core concepts like variables, loops, functions, and algorithms.
Problem-Solving with Code: Work on weekly projects that put theory into practice (e.g., calculators, simple games).
Version Control (Git/GitHub): Learn to commit, branch, merge, and collaborate using industry-standard tools.
AI-Assisted Coding: Gain literacy in crafting prompts for AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and critically evaluate their output.
Capstone Project: Apply your skills to create a project, showcasing your progress and creativity.
