Course Overview

This course provides a concise, hands-on introduction to Artificial Intelligence, covering core concepts such as computer vision, natural language processing, document intelligence, generative AI, and ethical AI practices. You will learn to apply Azure AI services and prepare for the Microsoft AI-900 certification.

    • Introduction to AI: Overview of artificial intelligence and its importance in modern technology.

    • Artificial Intelligence in Azure: Introduction to AI services in Azure, including Azure Machine Learning and Cognitive Services.

    • Computer Vision: Techniques and applications of computer vision, including image recognition and processing.

    • Natural Language Processing: Understanding and building applications for language understanding, text analysis, and language generation.

    • Document Intelligence and Knowledge Mining: Techniques for extracting and analyzing information from documents, and using knowledge mining for data insights.

    • Generative AI: Exploration of generative models and their applications, including creating new data and content.

    • AI Ethics and Societal Impact: Examination of the ethical considerations and societal impacts of AI, including bias, fairness, and responsible AI practices.

    • You are C1 level in English

    • You are digitally literate and knowledgeable in using AI tools

    • You have an interest in AI technology

    • You commit to attending the classes and spending 10-15 hours per week to study and complete assignments

    • Understand and explain key AI concepts and applications

    • Use Azure AI services for real-world tasks (vision, NLP, knowledge mining, generative AI)

    • Build simple AI-powered solutions and prototypes

    • Apply responsible AI principles in practice

    • Confidently sit for the Microsoft AI-900 certification exam
